Once.

I once walked a mile in worn shoes
I onced fell to my knees as others flew
I once cried a silent tear
I once was one to fear
I once wanted to give in
I once found God in my sins
I once rose from the ash
I once was...and still am.

Michael - this is a really cool poem that I liked a lot - Loved the repeating beginning in fact this is a specific form if you would have kept it "I once" all the way through that is called Anaphora - Any how the content was great - God Bless
