Once

Wet and hot we rock -
I in my head,
you across the whiskers
of a former lover.

Slipping through your body
you undulate,
but not for me.

Our flesh collides like space junk.

“Let’s not do this again”.
I say to your closed eyes.

You have such a gentle coolness, that your poetry sneaks up sometimes, while other times it just glides gently past our legs like this time.
