On This Day of All Days
On this day of all days
Twilight whispers
Songs of our pristine dreams
Our calm harmonious tones
Get silvery words
Faint smile of stars
Falling from skies
Glistening happiness
At edge of wafaring moonbeams
Fragrance of evening bloom
On blink of crests of wind
But how has this change
Got stuck in frame of my unspectacled eyes
Because today when you confided
Today noon,I am yours
I forgot I was dwelling
In void of dreamless nights
I was a wanderer
Lost within realms of time
I soaked in rain of tears
Running through cells of my skin
I have noticed
You paint me rainbows
When the rain comes
In chaotic silence of my gloom
You match steps in my dance of devotion
Your smile ignites
My smouldering ashes of hopes
In archways of inner domain
Rises a new happy sun
On this day of all days
I found my robbed array of smiles
Heartbeats have life's much awaited strums
