On the Wind (Lyrics)

The hunt I begin anew
For truly I’m in search of you
Even though I don’t know you its true
And I almost caught your name
When the wind blew

So I run through my lands of gloom
suppressing my thoughts of doom
I’ll look for you ‘til I’m in earth’s womb
And I almost caught your name
When the wind blew

I howl from the shadows to the moon
praying to her I’ll find you soon
And I almost caught your name
When the wind blew

Crave to hold you by my side
But inside feels like I’ve died
So I search far and wide
To discover from where you hide
And I almost caught your name
When the wind blew
    Almost caught your name
        When the wind blew

      On the wind
      On the wind
      On the wind

I remember you in the corner of the bar, writing away, no one even looking twice because they knew that's what you do. I thank you for letting me put music to this writing and giving it a voice...Write to rock.
