Heidi Sands Poet Rhyme

On the Shore

You found me stranded on the shore
Reached out your hand to show me more
Your touch lifted me, out to sea
Taken by serendipity
A new smile lit flame to a wick
Light in banks of fog, densely thick
Currents moved with inspiration
As I embraced, each sensation
From then on, through storm’s wind and rain
An anchor helped me to sustain
Emotions brought color to sky
With steady mind and soul to fly
