On the Run

Words evade the inspiration of my muse
My heart is too heavy, watching this atrocity
Many people report that it will only get worse
Servicemen killed with many people injured
Photos of bloodied bodies at Kabul Airport
This never should have happened, ever!
America on the run, from a departure, no plan
They would still like to tell us everything will be fine!
I remember weeks ago when Biden insisted…
The Taliban would never take over the country!

This administration needs to be held accountable for their reckless way this was handled trying to leave Afghanistan. We also still have 1,000+ Americans there, about to be abandoned. God Bless our military and their families as well as all victims of this attack . Thank you :)

It was a backwards plan, a surrender and our commander in chief is responsible for the disastrous plan that led to evil ISIS to do this. Thank you for your comment. :)
