On the River

Been being patient for say
like twenty minutes
looking for that special weakness
You know the one where everyone
thinks your lying, with your eyes.

I been danmed if I do
and be damned if I don't
let you believe your holding
a better one than me
The truth is I'm ace and king
suited: two guns, awesome, beautiful
I've been playing sheep for tha last
four hours, callng, checking, waiting.
The flop was too, three of kind already
one diamond, the other a weary club.
Who are you? who beats a hand like mine
Why are you always calm when you win.
