On the Edge of a Knife

The blade will sting you if you are not careful A taste for blood runs in the veins of too many people to be ignored We all are facing the edge of a sharp knife Sharpened steel still terrifies Do you not care for peace? Then face reality The hatred which flows in so many people's brains Endangers us We must seek shelter If you watch the dance from a distance Then you may take your safety for granted There are those out there who feel contempt for those they cannot understand Peace will come to you if you are ready and take precautions when they are neccessary
