On the Edge

Misbegotten pair,
two-faced accusation,
the seduction of sweet solace
or the inarticulation of despair.

Either uneasy 'neath the spell of peerless rapture,
false respite from the ravages of fear,
or defenseless and imperilled
by a sadness that is too extreme to bear.

Very interesting description. I had a brother in law who committed suicide and was bi polar. VERY difficult lives these people lead. I wish I had time for more of your poetry tonight. But I 'm scrambling to go to a funeral soon. I don't know the poor lady but she is daughter of a dear friend. (so sad for a woman to die young still in early 40's)
