On the Brink of Enlightenment

We dash downwards
       onto the foot of the
       hill
as we seek our personal dawn
Unlike the past, the future
looms ahead with brilland
rainbow colors
      Tired, now, we rest in
       the meadow
       No we haven't seen
paradise
       But we do feel changed
by our experiences
      One million lights
glow from acoss the lake
      Perhaps, one day we shall
know why they are there
For now, we'll relax - dream
smoky dreams of tomorrow
     If you wish to
ask questions
     Let them fly now
Only in the days to come
will you receive complete answers
We'll do what we can before then
asking little,
             as we fall into
a deep dreamless sleep
