On the Beach
Lovely dark woman
the tide brings you
for love is a child
and the sea water
brings your kisses
like turbulent waves...
Gulls float and sing
such a sweet song
the birds glide
above the ships
along the horizon
the ships return thither..
You my queen
the daughter sleeps
the taste of wine
from your lips
our souls sing
mermaid of the sea...
You the beautiful rose
the warmth of your arms
a lover who never mourns
together we soar the sky
together flying pair to pair...
