On Starting College

You’re taking a step into the future,
A new phase in your life is about to begin;
Life won’t be easy, not to start with,
Just remember everyone is feeling the same.
Take your time, settle down,
And you’ll soon find things aren’t so bad.
The pace will be fast and you’ll have to work hard –
But time goes by quickly,
Make the most of your college days
Because all too soon they’re gone -
And you’ll be part of the rat race
Caught up in the system.

How right you are, Lynn. I only went for a short time but I realized pretty quick that simply because somone is attending college doesn't make them smart. Most of my classmates did not seem to be there to learn but to socialize. which made passing easy.
