On Rubik's Cube

If the Rubik’s cube were round as a ball It surely would not have six sides, at all, And would be worthless for little more Than rolling upon a smooth varnished floor. One could not twist the sides or see Neat rows of color in squares of three Much less give exercise to flexing wrist I think you are probably getting the gist. If Rubik really wanted to prove his legit He should’ve made a puzzle ball of it. Written December 31, 2020 For Rubik’s Cube Contest

A funny read for me saying good night. I also had similar thoughts of such a non Rubik's cube, but I couldn't solve the poem's ending so threw it away; but they, whoever they are, say that nothing created is original. Perhaps so, but this poem proves, by your words, that if Rubik really wanted to at least try to be original, he would have made it a ball; then you could have invented Hankins' Cube. Thank you.

I don't know of them, but a woman commented on one of mine so I did one of hers; she is great: Maureen MacGreavy.

LOL. I was surprised that my poem didn't even place in the contest. Oh, well...you can't win 'em all!...unless you're Andrea or Constance, of course. Those women are first-rate poets, and I'm mostly a hack, I guess.

this is wonderful. I would have no idea what to write about this cube . I do not like puzzles and would not even give the rubic cube a try! but I'd love it as a ball so that I could kick it!

Hello Milton Hankins, I prefer the square Rubik's Cube. It is easy to handle. Happy New Year. Enjoy your evening my friend.

Hello L. Miton, Hankins, have you ever got all the sides done? Or did you struggle with it until it was the same on both sides? Enjoy your day my friend.

Thanks, Darlene. Every now and then, I treat myself to something outrageous that may provoke a laugh...a nod of the head at least.
