On Parting

how i dream
sweet soul mate
of the moment
when i will join you 
~
when my work here
will be done
and i’ll have given
all that i could give

only then in peace
most willingly
i’ll leave all behind
to find my wings

over my shoulder
give but a quick glance
and with content heart
blow one final kiss
~
goodbye
mother earth
hello universe
