Notes About The Poem

On New Year's Eve

As the old year grows cold and grey, I stand on an ocean of time, holding my dreams like bright balloons. Based on visual #1 Written 12/31/14 by Andrea Dietrich For the 3 by 8 Image Contest of nette onclaud

I really like your interpretation of this image, as well. It was clever tying it in with a New Year's theme. Very nicely done, Andrea! Good luck in the contest!

Andrea, I haven't heard from you in a long time. I like this and also the poem you wrote about the coming of spring. It is good to be looking ahead if only a bit. I hope you are well. In any case, I am sick in the head---I don't know why these crazy ideas come to me about things to write about. I hope I can bring a warm laugh to all. Have a great 2015. You are a saint!!
