On My Way Home
On my way home
when my chapter is closed
and the earth no longer counts
angels with me sing heavenly chorus
On my way finally
relatives and friends aside
beautiful earth on longer for me
I fly away in great joyful departure
On my way special
when loving service is done
I carry it as ticket for eternal life
Glorious hymns will ring the blue skies
On my way forever
I shall arrive at the Lord’s gate
with holy saints gladly waiting
beautiful banquet prepared in honor
On my way home when time ticks
we sing and dance with Angels all the way
