Notes About The Poem

On My Knees

On my knees I kneel and pray.
I do this each and every day.

There are times I let you down,
and wonder if you are still around.

I am told you are still there.
They say you always care.

At times I fear your wrath,
but I need a lighten path.

I will try to do what you say.
Please help me find my way.

When my road has come to an end,
My hope is a new life will begin.
