On Love and Fools

There once was a boy who would do anything.
For on girl he loved.
And he was thought a fool.

The boy did everything asked.
By the girl he loved.
And yes, he was a fool.

He thought if he showed his faith.
In the girl he loved.
She would love him too.

She didn’t love him.
This girl he loved.
She merely played him as a tool.

So he was reduced dreaming.
About the girl he loved.

Secretly in pain,
But his face doesn’t betray,
So he bottles it up inside.

And writes poetry.
About the girl he loved.
