On Losing a Friend

As everything has a start, also has an end
Time alters and changes, this is how things go
So I’m not blaming it on you, my friend
All I can do is curse time and woe

Your turn has come to change and forget
Our friendship and the time we used to spend
But as it’s the nature’s law, I am content
Though it seems my turn to change hasn’t come yet

I don’t know if it’ll ever come, so I rue
Our bond and the friendship we used to share
But as your turn has come, I can’t stop you
Though it hurts me deeply, I try to bear

Though i know you've stopped loving me
I'll never forget, nor ever stop loving thee
