On Fire

Lit on fire
he stamped
and swung his head
the thoughts
running streaming out of his ears into the sky
like cartoons
I could see the words
the sentences
as he jumped and danced
joyful past joyful to
exhileration
his hands
waving by his ears
to catch the words
the thoughts
hot
sparks
flying
