On Earth, You and Me

YOU Inside Me This Or No You One Stand ME As you can see no one’s inside, neither, you or me On earth we are but just two, there is, no she or he Nor they, only you and me, and we’re both outside You’re on the upper side and I’m on the lower side Great riches is absolutely your convincing power And from poverty, day and night, I endlessly suffer You discreetly dislike my skin, though I am meek I like the color of your God given, apple-red cheek Ah! Indeed, God created us, but is He really fair? My mind is yelling, this is not fair! He’s, too, unfair! For He gave you all I like, in this world, everything And He gave me what you dislike, only little thing You’ve all, the looks, the wisdom, and great wealth I’ve poorer looks, lesser wisdom, and a poor health You’ve all, and still, for fame, you play with a flame O, less I got, always, your faults, I do get the blame This is what we are; accepting the truth is not easy But I learned a thing, when you’re, too, damn busy Our Creator had set upon us, an ultimate equalizer Nil counts, even if,we win the Nobel or the Pulitzer O gee! We do have something in common, after all I breathe, you breathe, and someday we are to fall Now I see that God is fair, time to say, we are sorry I don’t know if you reflected on this, do you worry?
