On Eagles' Wings

I have flown
Through the sky
I have danced
In the wind
I have sung
With the birds
And I will love
Again

But for now
I will cry
Tears of sorrow
Till I die

What is right
And what is wrong
People blind
All along

Prejudice and hate
Burning blazing fire
Open the floodgates
And douse the rising ire.

Love your neighbor as yourself
Lift up your voice and with us cry
All glory to the Lord on High

I will fly
On eagles’ wings
Through the sky
As voices sing

These principles we need to teach our children as it should be taught in schools. We are all connected regardless of race or creed. This is a beautiful and insightful poem Olivia. Blessings xxoo

We all tend to be blind to the unfairness in our lives, just because we are raised to believe that unfairness is a thing of the past. It's not, and we need to realize that. -Olivia
