On Drugs and Alcohol Use

Many people use drugs or alcohol of any type,
to point of ambered, infused, intoxication!
They see it as an innocent past time?
Or, excuse for a deadly, human abrogration.
Yet heavily overused at the most beautiful of
celebrations !
But..I mean nobody, will admit they were ever
caught at times.
In a not so cool participation!
Yet if a drunk kills another, they cannot feel innocent,
nor free, nor canthey admit to living in humilation!
For they are aware it a is social harsh condemnation?
Non-Users themselves worse, breathing a sigh of relief,
that they were not involved, to bear social indignation,
To save yourself, and family, never get in a car with
someone who is loaded.
Teach your children to call you for a ride home, from
death’s sweet song, do not be goaded.
Ther are free programs for alcoholics, drug users~
gamblers and over-eaters,that have saved
many lives across this world.
And yes, even amongst poets and writers!
It takes telling the truth, to those who work
in that field of addictions.
Meetings of AA are held worldwide, so is NA,
(Narcotics Anonymous.
Alcholism is a physical and mental disease.
It is not an ethical issue!
** Yes I have worked with alcoholics all over the USA.
They can get sober if they listen!
And of God’s family, they are the best!
Once they drop using and turn their lives
over to Him, is the true, shining test.
* AA has a 24 hour service number,
Worldwide.
And many meetings are now on Zoom!
