It is on Christ alone that I make my stand There by the power of Christ I stand! He alone is both my defender and He is also my mediator! It is on Christ alone that I make my stand Poor sinful creature that truly am! For on Calvary's Cross He took my place And saved me from everlasting disgrace! It is on Christ alone that I make my plea Christ sacrificed His Holy life for me! On Calvary's Cross He rescued not only Me but also all who do really believe! On Christ alone I claim my free gift Of everlasting life! He rescued me From everlasting death and shame! It is upon Him alone I sake my claim! Love in Christ Jesus!
