On Carpet of White

swept from heaven's floor

the light snow falls like feathers

        .... nature's housekeeping

snow covered branches

   are refuge for darting birds

       ... their breakfast buried

on carpet of white

   tiny imperfections lay

     ... tracks of hungry birds

The tracks of the birds is cute in a way, it's the sadness of seeing them looking for food. We have many nut hangers in the garden for the birds. Lovely Haiku Francine, have a lovely weekend....:)

Interesting imagery and attention to detail #2 doe not need the "are" which makes it more sentence like & is perfect without it the image totally the same #3 is perfect without the "on" everything we need you have given us for this exquiste vision. Can you soup mail, I like the cut indicaters being in front of line three did you find a site which said it can be done this way? Very curious? CONGRAD's [ I know 5/7/5 was required just some thoughts] Light & Love
