On Bended Knee

NONE OF THE BRAVE
NONE OF THE HONORABLE
NONE OF THE ABOVE

Look around at what you have, everything in life
thousands upon thousands died, trying to end the strife

While some at home (were raised to hate) some raised with honor and pride
so many times a doorbell rang, their loved one's lost (they cried)

This went on for many years (a hundred plus at best)
for you (so you could play your games) our soldiers laid to rest

The faith in side them kept them going, all this for our FLAG
while some at home would turn away, on knee their tails just wag

Soldiers didn't run or hide or get down on one knee
they stood their ground (Round after Round) just for you and me

They fought hard and died for you, while you played hard to win
never once in all the battles did they know (the color of your skin)

Courage, Bravery, (you wouldn't know), but without a second thought
you for "MILLIONS" fought for "yards" "for our FLAG our soldiers fought"
