On Anger

On Anger From nowhere does the sandstorm break A surge that ends calamitous That carries all before its wake Casts in the pit of; Emptiness The summer streams that babble on To winters stormy seas The hurricane that won’t be gone Born of the gentle breeze All moves within its sphere to burn How swift that piercing arrow flies Call at once …. for its return A wish …. The wounded heart denies.

Hi, my friend. You call me Petal. What could I call YOU then? Maybe Hummingbird!!(because you flutter by from time to time, and I feel lucky to see you!)

Powerful, powerful last line. The rest of the poem hit home for me too. Thank for this, Richard!

wow, it's so good to see your return to the pen with this amazing little gem, my friend. Thanks for having a new poem up. In case you did not see my dessert answer at my sand poem: Sand pudding!
