On a Dating Site

Through the web all night and day Sheep do graze and wolves do prey. Like cats and dogs we go astray Searching the Path to Love freeway. Torsos, faces, muscles, eyes, Vivid, blurry, bold or shy. When delete and when reply? What’s the truth and what's the lie? So I click and go around, Scrolling up and scrolling down, Being either fox or hound, Feeling rather lost than found. Shrug or sigh and start again Browsing through all different men. Guess it takes more than a click To find what’s behind the pic. Shouldn’t I just laugh and chill, Submit to dating site windmill? Relax, enjoy and here I find The perfect grain, the finest grind. Watch out: don’t fall in love online! What’s written sounds smooth and fine. But then you meet and “What the Heck!” She is Fiona, He is Shrek!

A voice of experience? I find it very humorous and from what I hear, true. Another, creative one, Maggie.

Dating sites can be demeaning and intimidating but the search for acceptance goes on. Good one Margarita.
