Omnes Exuent In Mysterium 8-12
Omnes Exuent In Mysterium 8-12
8.
While everything was yet
Things born of your will
The Sun bled its light
Into your growing memories;
The Moon its cold across your dreams.
Voices from above
Followed you in and out
Of enormous rooms
Commanding, Praising
Compelling, Exhorting
As you grew into yourself.
These days you will forget
Never to know again
They will be secrets
Held inside of you
Kept even from yourself.
9.
Things happen. Life shifts.
You love
Fear
Hate
All the rest
All the while wondering
Down below
Where no words come
Where is it all going?
Is there a meaning
Or just a being?
The days march by in their thousands
Sunrise/Sunset
You wax , wane
Like the leaves
Soft and supple in Spring
Strong and fearless in Summer
Burning bright in Fall
In noble desolation in Winter.
Through it all,
Something stands unchanged
Though your face tells a tale
In your mirror
Of Becoming.
10.
The end slides up behind you
Like an eel through murky depths
Looks over your shoulder and smiles,
What else to do but smile in return?
11.
All of this will be again,
Somewhere, Someplace
Though unbeknownst to this mind.
Again you will sing and dance
Around the sacred fire
Pushing back the darkness.
Again shall you be
The hunter and the hunted,
The wise and profane
The fool, the saint
Mere beast, near god
Horrific, Beautific.
12.
It never ends.
The unfolding of the Rose.
The Apple of God's eye.
