Ominous Feeling
Snowy-like fog surrounded morning daybreak
You could see it to the east past the fence lines
My oak trees looked ethereal; ghostly almost
A great day for a funeral; I thought and wished I hadn’t.
The ominous feeling did not disappear until after breakfast.
I was starting to feel normal when I heard sirens.
