Olden Knowledge Should Smolder

Olden knowledge should smolder
As smoke rising from an ember -
Universal but not common -
Peculiar but not forgotten.
Tell me of those days of yore -
Of circumstances transpired -
So I can repeat on my lips
That which slumbers in silence.

Dear Amy, Your poem speaks to the timeless wisdom passed down through generations, hidden beneath the surface yet waiting to be rediscovered. Your poetic prowess illuminates the importance of preserving traditions and stories, ensuring they don't fade into obscurity. I love the imagery of smoldering embers evokes a sense of reverence for the past and a desire to reclaim lost wisdom. Your words inspire introspection and a longing to connect with our ancestral roots. This is a beautiful ode to the enduring power of ancient knowledge. - Blessings, Daniel
