Old Tv

I remember when I was young A man on the screen tightening bolts Another, his brother? Was frightening folks, I gathered the latter had died. And the lovely lady with the blonde hair, She came on a chat show with old Fred Astaire, Then suddenly one day, She was no longer there, And everyone sat down and cried. The fat and the thin one were having a lark, Black Beauty would gallop and Lassie would bark, The real scary ones, Who came on in the dark, 'Im not frightened' I frequently lied. Daft northern comics, the Danny Kaye Show, Brave Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds go, The hours I watched them, I shall never know, But theyre all of them here in my mind.
