Old Sacrifice

Morning appeared so quickly that the spider webs stopped.
Just dropped to the floor like Halloween tricks.
Because of those threads- they toyed with me.
I never wanted to go to school this bad.
As when the books all shattered like a beach day when it’s snowing.
Morning is so sickly and quiet.
I made it without withering into the next plane of existence.
Because those old threads toyed with me and whispered:
“That Old Sacrifice.”
