Opening the dusty leather bound album Lots of memories come flooding back Dad had a lot more hair back then! Proud parents when our son was born How he’s grown into a delightful young man Outings to the park with his little friends Turning the pages I start to get quite teary Old faces of loved ones no longer with us Good friends and relations who have passed Rich reminders of happy times in days gone by Amazing events captured, frozen in time Pages turned bring tears and laughter How precious are all these moments Snap some pictures today for you to share ANY NEW ACROSTIC ABOUT NOSTALGIA Poetry Contest Sponsored by Line Gauthier 12/21/12

I have many such albums Jan and I find that you have perfectly described the feelings evoked whenever I look at them! I have digitized most of mine and added music and such but not nothing replaces the old, worn albums containing the old, worn but irreplaceable memories ! Well done xxoo

I miss the old fashioned photo albums at our finger tips. I am so far behind at getting my favorite photos copied now that they are in the cloud. This is a lovely nostalgic poem Jan. Congrats Jan. I wonder how many of today’s photographs will still be viewable in years to come. Lost phones, crashed computers, withdrawn cloud facilities etc will rob many people of their photographic keepsakes. I’m the worlds worst backer upper and I’m sure many people are the same. Value those pics Jan, and well done. Terry

Wow Jan, congratulations on POTD, what a lovely Christmas present . I love the poem. We had upward of 30 photo albums, could not possibly let them take up space in a new smaller home, the albums I mean. So I got a big plastic container and hubby and I went through every album, took out all the special ones - so still have our photos. Elias scanned a lot onto our computer and they are also up in the cloud. Hope you had an awesome, peaceful Christmas Day Jan, dear friend. Hugs, Blessings, Jenn
