Old Photo

Your flawless body
Those eyes, that hair
I see your picture
I stare and stare
I paid a price
I rolled the dice
I was so scared
But I didn’t know
Who I was
Or that what I needed
Was already there.

Yes One Can See That, Your Beauty, Well, Everything Is There, Beautiful Ellie ~ Albeit I Would Imagine That This Short Verse Is A Much More Profound Moment Then Merely As Simply, This Portrait Of Your Splendours ~ My Love, Always, John

Ellie, it's amazing how we get lost, when staring at old photos. Sometimes we lose when we seem to slip can't recognize the signs. A well done write. I love the title especially :):), thank you for the flawless image of him, and the sadness it brought to your heart. ... SKAT

Ahhh . . . That seems to be the crux of many a situation like you have described. Many times we overlook what we have been living with all our lives.
