Snow is forecast for Thursday night (Nov. 8) in Chicago...
The earth lies still; trees are bare
A hint of frost is in the air
Brittle leaves are swept away
By wind-gusts set in skies so gray
The ground shivers, right through my bones
Summer's heart transformed to stone
Old Man Winter's set foot in town
Soon to every living thing surround
