Old Love Letters In a Cardboard Box

Old love letters in a cardboard box
Tender conversations forever frozen
Now wrapped with red ribbons
Memories of loves gone by
And precious moments now forgotten
Wispy threads fading like the words that spoke them
Their passion waiting to be discovered
By others not envisioned,
With others now forgotten,
Waiting to be reunited
Like old love letters in a cardboard box
