Old Knowledge

Poems are for suckers, least that's what i'm told But poems are a format of writers of old Respect your elders, thats what mom said Respect your elders and learn from the dead Lessons from past are always the best But the past language can be hard to digest Slowly but surely the lessons are learned Both good and bad are soon learned in turn So listen to poems, the words of the old Then safely and steadily, your life will unfold.
