Old Habits Never Die

old habits never die
they just get buried
underneath the progress
we think we make towards change
in reality we are stuck with
the baggage that old habits bring
we can never truly get ride of
that emotional baggage that our
habits have brought into our existences
try as we might no one is ever truly free
from the mistakes of the past
the mistakes of the past always have
an uncanny way of rearing their ugly heads
through out one's life at the most inconvenient times
