Old Friends

Emerging from the shade Warm rays seeping through our pores chills slowly dissipating Arms spread wide to soak in more A sky of endless azure Soft breeze dancing through our hair Watching clouds turn into dragons Then disappear into thin air I watched as she spread sunshine To all we chanced to meet Convinced that as we strolled along Flowers bloomed beneath her feet Talked of everything and nothing Laughing well into the night Reminiscing special memories With arms linked together tight I thought how very special She had always been to me How God designed this friendship As it was truly meant to be
