Old Friend

You had glasses and a chubby face like mine
Blond hair and a silly laugh. We walked together
We liked to swing on the playground and make up stories
We sat together on the bus and you would mess up my hair.
I did not like that, still don't

Though I wonder where you are these days
If you remember me and if we have any thing in common now
Probably not, life seems to go that way...

This is a wonderful dedication of remembrance to an old friend. I like how it reflects on the past and the lingering sentiments. Great job and have a wonderful July 4th. Joseph
