Old Friend

Where have you been my dear old friend? I’ve been cast aside and blown by the wind. But who could do such a thing to you? Look in the mirror for the who’s who. Are you saying that I am the one? There is no other to cast the blame on. But how could I have done such a thing? That is the question that still remains. You must understand the position I’m in. Does that matter when it comes to old friends? Please don’t hate me for what I’ve done. What do you expect when you have been shunned? I made a mistake this much I know. Now you need to learn to let go. How can you do this to your old friend? You did it to me, too late to amend. I guess this is it, our friendship now through. The price you must pay for not being true. © All Rights Reserved 07/14/09 Nathan Bane Leccese

The soul, the mind, and the heart, and sometimes thoughts cannot determine, who's I am, as the wind blows.Lol, Sincerely, John Moses

Nathan, This is a very nice write about the results of rejection. And sometimes, they come back to haunt us. There is always forgiveness. And some friendships can last a lifetime. Now lovers' infidelity, that's a different subject, but still forgivable... I think? God bless. Lovingly, Dane

Painful message to one who didn't treasure the friendship....very sad, but quite often is the way human relationships seem to go. So sorry for that!
