This is a very cool and creative visual poem! It cleverly uses spacing and an ASCII-art-like structure to create an image of a bridge, while the words themselves build on that imagery. The overall feeling is one of stillness, age, contemplation, and perhaps a touch of mystery or wistfulness. It's a very unique and successful piece of micro-poetry combined with visual art. Congrats, Sister JCB. - BFA

Dear Jcb, I adore wooden bridges and the nostalgic beauty and tone of your hiku. I love to imagine the stories old bridges (and houses too), could tell if only they could. Fantastic, my poet friend. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan
