I love old books. The mold smell, the tattered pages, the strange way writers penned stories. Ever since a child I loved the feel of an old book. I search adding to my collection of covers crumbling and pages yellow hued. There is nothing more calming than decaying books. I save them from garbage heaps, I give beloved books a home to rest in old age, and I love touching their withered pages, caressing words written so long ago. ______________________________ May 5, 2016 (Edit) Poetry/Verse/Old Books Copyright Protected, ID 16-1109-559-0 All Rights Reserved. So true, how often I find myself gravitating to the old familiar reads. Still my favorite, Jane Eyre.
