I
love
old books.
The mold smell,
the tattered pages,
the strange way writers penned stories.
Ever since a child I loved the feel of an old book.
I search adding to my collection of covers crumbling and pages yellow hued.
There
is
nothing
more calming
than decaying books.
I save them from garbage heaps,
I give beloved books a home to rest in old age,
and I love touching their withered pages, caressing words written so long ago.
