Ok Sherlock Friendly Computer

Of all the absurdities in this our current tumultuous mixed up times So many of which it would take a lifetime to mention but a few Given that right here on this very planet we are resident on today There are at any given point a billion plus living human beings in over 100 plus countries who speak a variety of differing dialects We choose to give our phone's with automated prosthetic voice recognition A human earthly name So as to somehow humaniize them As they boldly proclaim to be our 1 and only true friend we can take solace in A slippery slope highlighting a desperate sign of our time's Life or what it means to be human is creeping ever so slowly into uncharted territory Of becoming as soulless as a computer which break's down and makes such emotive decisions Into the simplest of gate algorithm equations as 0 or 1 respectfully Oh and bye the way before I go did I forget to mention my phone that I am writing this poem on I also gave and has a name It's erstwhile affectionately called No-Ship-Sherlock and Watson is the name of my 1 and only true friend partner in crime I know I can rely and count upon on so long as it is fully charged I can pay the bill and the internet doesn't crash Otherwise I will be forced into having long and searching internal dialogues with I yours truly Until hopefully Sherlock and Watson crack this case sooner rather than later

This is only the start of the IT evolution Christopher, we’re comfortable with our devices, we even give them names to humanise them, they have become an extension to our lives, since IT came along we have partially forgotten how to interact with each other in a room, but your poem says all this much better, than my analytical comment, roll on the robot age, the next stage of our evolution, you feel it coming too, cheers David

Absolutely cannot be stopped, it has taken on a life of it’s own, only a matter of time til we can fully interact together in a Metaverse, what’s the alternative, there is none, like you said sit at home doing soliloquies,

Thanks David Like you said human interaction is the price and cost Progress and evolution but is it really and sadly it is a juggernaut that cannot be stoped because it went off the rails or track's a few stops back
