Oil Spill

OIL SPILL

Says car radio
“Oil spill on the Yellowstone”
Why I’m feeling ill
And great cities smoke away
Fat merchants blink at breakfast

Oh Daver, what an infuriatingly vexing situation!!! When the ferocious buck$ meets the almighty dollar $$. Who really wins these rat races? We all know what and who will be the losers. Birds and turtles washed to shore in thick molasses sludge....they are part of they who won't win?:( The dumb and dead will never complain. Nicely done, Daver, and as you might have observed, it can be a mind probe! Best wishes, Love, Mikki

AMEN AND AMEN AND AMEN I hear you talking brother and I couldn't have said it better. First they kill the Gulf of Mexico and now it's the rivers. They're going to kill us all. Did you notice you can't find oysters for sale anymore. The oyster beds are GONE! God Bless, JB

How devastating, Daver. I hadn't heard about this oil spill. Can understand why it makes you feel sick though. And then there are the "fat merchangs"blinking. Great use of sarcasm tocreat an effect! I'm visiting my sister in Key Biscayne this week. It's raining. Hope you had a great Fourth! Love, Carolyn

They do make us ill - so much damage. This brings back memories of the Gulf spill.
