Oil Spill

The day I heard about the spill.
It made me feel extremly ill.
The wildlife was my first thought.
And all the death the spill has brought.
The birds the fish and the animals to.
The numbers are greater than we ever knew.
The animals are the ones we'd forgotten.
I think this whole thing is really rotten.
It's not just birds and fish that were toxic.
There's rabbts, racoons and even the foxes.
It's hard to see them covered in oil.
When I saw it on T.V. it made my blood boil.
There are some people that deserve a shout.
My hat does go off to all who helped out.
