Oh, What a Life
Oh, What a Life
Oh, what a life is it,
To sit and see the sunset,
To be engulfed in the shadow of a tree,
Assisted by honey and iced tea,
On a valley adorned by a stream,
Lit by glistening rays—a perfect dream.
What a life is it,
To sweat on the golden fields,
Clad in nothing but simple cotton yields,
To view the snow-capped peaks,
From shallow banks where nature speaks.
What a life will it be,
To see the morning star at dawn,
Uncluttered, the sky unfazed and drawn,
To witness the royal light with life as it is,
Pure and whole, untainted bliss.
Oh, what a life will it be,
To be free from all and live carefree,
With glad ignorance as my guide,
Embracing joy, with nothing to hide.
