Oh Very Young

Oh Very Young

Through a looking glass we can gain a glimpse from are past
In a ride to the beach to taste the fresh lobster & beer
We get a glimpse of the past by what's ahead in are future
All of us get only one chance at which to roll the dice
In mere solace we could learn another page has been turned
It's an honest approach to the one's that will serve
Outside the grass is green plush against the curb
Oh very young we only get a glimpse at the dance
The horse's mare is caught between the lines
A faint heart will never last the true test in time
We will often push at the heart to light the spark of what were waiting for
Shapes in the clouds list a line formation
To capture a smile out of the elderly on a vacation
We are all in search of a treat a given chance to meet & greet
Look at your reflection on the surface of the lake
A cool experience in which to fondly bring a date
Yet inside we hide behind barbed wire fences in certain trenches
The given chance at a humble romance from a glance
The heart is an opened door by which to explore so much more
The eclipse of the sun has tainted my inner vision on a quest
Bask in the vast array at the circus scene filled with cotton candy
To swing down at the family porch swing
We shall smile amidst the battle that rage from within
Other's have a hard time at this by holding their breath to count to ten
Long lines in the visible sand it is my hope that you all will understand
