Oh, Those Arrogant Poets

"No, I won't read you, no matter what!"
"Even if you get a POTD, I will keep my heart and pen shut."

Such a terribly, nasty state of affairs.
When they associate only with top poet lairs!

I had enough POTDs to already know who would prefer death! (by name).
Than giving me a soul squeeze,golly, they may run out of breath?

I take it all in,with a big grain of salt.
Better that, than getting totally drunk on malt.

To those who are here, to a relative newbie.
I prefer love to disingenuous snooties!

That they so oft give so deeply of their heart and are ignored, ridiculed, chastised or given meaningless replies to the Art they present. Eyes on a PC or iPad over 6 hours a day is a nightmare. I can't comment as much as I want to. Folks do read me. I thank them all. Jan knows how scarce comments are. I do think I am part of the cancel the poet I sense going on here. Who cares who wrote a poem? I am interested in the poet..just the poem. This is like American Idol here.)) we only read some people. We vote down the rest? Interesting to me MALES AND JAN ONLY RESPOND. BUT...I like Honesty over the wind. Especially hot air. Anyone with a brain can write a poem. Thinkers? Questioners? That's another story. Too afraid of reality. Riding unicorns? Afraid to engage in meaningful poetry to us as a community.Pangie. Worse, some poems are taboo.
